It seems we struck a chord

We have had some wonderful feedback about our December blog post  on supporting local community organisations. It’s great to have such a positive response and know we struck the right chord.

If you like what we said about going out and getting involved please tell people about it and share it on your preferred social media service.

In other words, let’s get a conversation going.

Now that we’re on the subject of conversations

We believe the best conversations are the ones you have face-to-face. Yes, the old-fashioned way, when the person you’re listening to is right there with you.

Some of the best occasions for such conversations are our business networking events.

They are fantastic opportunities to meet new people or catch up with those you already know.

As we’ve said in a previous blog post, business networking is about building long-term relationships, connections and trust.

And that’s exactly what our events are designed to help you with.

Please be reassured, however, that nobody will expect you to be totally focused on business all the time. There’s always a relaxed and sociable atmosphere with a distinct lack of formality.

The main thing is that conversations happen. Real conversations with real people.

Every year, our busy calendar creates countless conversations

For example, in 2019 we conducted 16 events, each attended by 80 to 130 people.

They included sundowners, business after hours events and member-only coffee catch-ups in addition to Alliance Partner luncheons and two annual showcase events, the Women’s Business Lunch and Property Market Update Dinner.

To host them, we hired 14 magnificent Western Suburbs venues including sporting clubs, hotels, restaurants and cafes.

If you’ve never been to one of our events, you’ll get a feeling for the ‘buzz’ by looking over the photo gallery.  To find out what events are coming up, keep an eye on our events page.

Non-members are welcome

Most of our events are open to anyone, although members pay less.

We have membership categories to suit every type of organisation from one-person businesses to major corporates and not-for-profits. Our members come from a wide variety of industries and you can find them in the member directory.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
